Through the pandemic and beyond, we've witnessed the urgent need for healing spaces rooted in creative liberation. I:RL, invites us to Imagine, Release, and Learn together in a neighborhood kickback organized by Mutual Aid Hartford centered in connectivity through art!

We invite you to join us for an evening featuring a screening of "The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975", a networking hour with sounds on vinyl, and the chance to win prizes for yourself and a friend! i:RL is more than just a party - it's a chance for us to release and grow together!

Put your phone down! Get to know your neighbor! Make a new friend! This time is meant for connecting and networking with the people we are in community with! Everyone is invited to participate in an interactive game and the chance to win a prize for you and a friend! 

“The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975” 5PM -

This film is a 2011 Swedish documentary film directed by Göran Hugo Olsson, that examines the evolution of the Black Power movement in American Society from 1967 to 1975 as viewed through Swedish journalists and filmmakers!
