Membership is flexible and designed to meet people where they are. Whether you’re attending events, contributing financially, or helping to shape our offerings, your involvement strengthens our shared movement.

PARTICIPATING

  • People power matters - by signing up for a membership we can show how many people care about this work. 

  • Come out to ONE house meeting or in-person offering per year

    • Join MAH events, community workshops and skillshares, neighborhood councils

    • Eligible for BMGC

    • Apply to become an Imaginal Cell cohort member

Participating members are interested in the work of Mutual Aid Hartford


SUSTAINING

  • Money matters - regular contributions make consistent offerings and community funds possible**.

    Sustaining members offer $5 or more each month.

  • Maintain dues payments.

    We would love to see you at our offerings! Soon we will ask that all sustaining members participate in at least one Radical Imagination Dinner annually.

CoordinatING

    Showing up reliably to work towards shared goals.

  • Participate in offerings based on your role

    Understand the MAH values and mission. Frame your work as part of the Mutual Aid Hartford Network.

    • Apply to become a Fellow

Coordinating members take responsibility for some level of day-to-day or project-based operations

Coordinating members are: Current Governance Team, Current Imaginal Cell Cohort, Autonomous Fellows & engaged alumni, and MAH Offerings Coordinators

**Your contribution supports:

  1. Black Mommas Giving Circle: A social care fund established by Mutual Aid Hartford centered around providing support to black mothers in the Greater Hartford area with social services including but not limited to financial assistance,  childcare, and in-home support to nurture the roots of our community. 

  2. MAH Offerings
