a 10 month community of practice for artists, cultural workers, and visionary leaders
Through this cohort-based model, Mutual Aid Hartford provides a container for deepening the culture of mutual aid, solidarity economics, and principles of care in Hartford, specifically and Connecticut, broadly.
Cohort members will gather with practitioners from across the country & state during a six-week intensive learning lab. From that foundation, the cohort will design and execute mutual aid projects, growing networks of solidarity and care in Hartford and beyond.

Why Imaginal Cell
Another world is not just possible, it’s being built everyday by people like us.
Imaginal Cell was designed to support transformative thinkers as they build the liberatory systems of care and reciprocity we need for generations to come.
At Mutual Aid Hartford, we believe that our ability to self-organize is only as strong as the relationships we are able to build and nurture.
